Today, Lake Gaston Community Center recognized Big Heart Pantry among other community organizations for service to the community!

This marks the 25th year Big Heart Pantry has provided for hungry neighbors in need. Executive Board President, Kerry Huff accepted the honor on behalf of the pantry, volunteers and families serviced in Northampton County, NC.

Big Heart Pantry Presidents Award 2025 goes to Esther Baker and posthumously Roosevelt Baker. Deacon and Deaconess Baker were members of the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church Senior Missionary Circle who established the Big Heart Pantry 25 years ago. presenting the award is Kerry Huff, President of the BHP Executive Board.
