Your donations at the thrift store, benefits, a homeless shelter for men, a food for those who face food insecurities, and a shelter for women and children. members of society". has been helping our community face the challenges of homelessness and hunger. Whether you need help, or are in a place to support others, Union Mission welcomes you. Men’s Program
Our spiritual enrichment programs help develop character, discipline, and freedom from addictions through intentional instructional, educational, and mentorship programs. We also use vocational training programs in cooperation with other institutions to foster the best opportunities for our men to succeed through independent living. Women’s Program
We shelter and serve homeless women with 1-2 children (ages newborn to 10 if boys) who present themselves to Union Mission for help. The structured program of recovery includes Bible study, work therapy, study of spiritual disciplines, and referrals to outside resources if needed. The Room At the Inn is under 24-hour supervision with a resident manager. Food Programs
Twice monthly, Union Mission makes a food distribution to those who have been pre-qualified for our food pantry ministry. In partnership with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC as well as businesses, individuals, churches and civic groups, we are able to distribute fresh food to those in need. We also serve the community emergency food services on Mondays as well as offer an evening meal for anyone desiring to eat with us Monday through Thursday at 4:00 PM, following our chapel services. About half of the operating budget of Union Mission comes from the sale of used clothing, thrift items, and the recycling of well-used clothing. Donated clothing and other items are sold in our retail stores to generate funds for the operation of the Mission. DONATE RETAIL ITEMS:
Donate used clothing and thrift items in quality condition to be sold in our Thrift Stores. Donations accepted Monday and Wednesday, 9am-3:30pm, Saturday, 9am-2:30pm. Drop off at our warehouse behind the clothing store at 1313 Roanoke Avenue. The Littleton Union Mission Thrift Store
The Thrift store opened on April 17th, 2017. Hours: Wednesday 10am-12pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10am-4pm. Donations accepted Wednesday 10am-12pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10am-4pm. Drop off is behind the Thrift store at 120 East South Main St., Littleton NC. Please come to the front of the store to let me know you have donations
