DCO is a primary prevention health model and educational program that provides factual and medically accurate information on the topic of sexual risk avoidance and teen pregnancy. Decisions, Choices, and Options is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which exists to provide public, schools, private schools, and community organizations with an effective method for communicating the life-long consequences of teen pregnancy and premature sexual activity. The use of a multi-media approach maintains a high level of interest with the students participating in the program. Pre and post presentation surveys demonstrate a high level of cognition of the facts presented.

Foundations is already making an impact!

We’re excited to have launched Foundations this school year, reaching 6th and 7th grade students with the tools they need to build a strong foundation for healthy decision-making, positive boundaries, and relationships.

As we expand our reach, we’re equipping more students EARLY with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the choices ahead.

A lesson that can shape a lifetime!

After hearing DCO’s program, one student shared that they learned the importance of delaying sexual activity until marriage and that adoption can be a wonderful choice!

This is why we’re in the classroom. We’re equipping students with truth, healthy choices, and hope for their future.

Sometimes, the most powerful impact happens after the lesson ends.

After hearing DCO’s program, one student felt safe enough to come forward to her teacher and share experiences she had been facing on social media.

Her teacher was grateful that DCO’s program helped open the door for this student to speak up and get the support she needed.
