Our Christian church offers a community based, teaching environment to re-shape an understanding for one's unique call by God. Our community church serves to be a highly relational church that is driven to serve the family and others. We offer a variety of open events, gatherings, and classes to bring our community together. We strive to create a family friendly environment by offering age-appropriate programs and messages for everyone. Hendersonville Pig Fest is almost here. It’s a great time to hang out and enjoy some delicious BBQ! 🐷🔥

🔥 Saturday's event is free to the public, so swing by Veterans Park (Mary's Magical Place) and support this great community event and our Burnt Offerings BBQ Team!

🔥 Our Burnt Offerings crew is hard at work preparing for the weekend. There are still volunteer slots open if you'd like to be part of the fun!

🔥 DM us or reach out to Mark or Adam if you can help with setup Friday 3-5PM or with handing out BBQ on Saturday (between 10AM and 4PM).

Think about the maintenance required for anything good to last. Whether you're taking care of a lawn, a car, a child, a pet, or a marriage, there's going to be some maintenance involved.

Love that lasts isn't always easy. It takes ownership, intentionality, and perseverance. And that's the kind of love God pours out, maintaining His love to thousands of generations.

We love Halloween at NCC! One of our favorite traditions is dressing up in costume to Trick-or-Treat for canned goods in a local neighborhood. The kids go door-to-door, asking for nonperishable food donations, filling up wagons with their haul. Then, we donate the food to community organizations that help distribute it to those who need it. Every Halloween, our kids have fun helping others! 🎃

Ever feel like walking out on God? Or feel like He's walked out on you? At New Creation Church, we get that. We still struggle with all that's dark, all that's unanswered. But, even when it feels impossible, we believe for each other that God is abounding in love and faithfulness, overflowing with more grace and compassion than we can imagine. He's always ready and waiting for us, and it's never too late. Because that's the kind of God He Is.

God describes Himself in Exodus as "slow to anger." As we try to balance that with what we read in the Bible about God's wrath, it's helpful to look to Jesus. Colossians 1:15 says that Jesus is "the image of the invisible God," and we can look to Him to show us what God is like.

Often we have been taught about God with an emphasis on His wrath. But God says He is slow to anger. How might it change our relationship to God to understand Him first as a God of love?
