The RCPA Cat Team is looking for a volunteer for Saturdays on a schedule of your choosing in a calm, peaceful atmosphere.
This position feeds and cleans by an easy to follow protocol for the cats and kittens in our care that day as they are preparing for their scheduled spay/neuter surgery. This volunteer spot usually takes an hour or less. This also gives you the opportunity to love on these felines all you want!

Our RUSK COUNTY ANIMAL OUTREACH surgery team enjoys being together!
We especially love having our student volunteers. From vet school students like Holli to high school students like Conner, their young energy adds to the experience.
Because this team has such good vibes, the animals from Henderson TX Animal Center shelter are relaxed and happy for their surgery date which leads to a quicker recovery because animals always interpret your energy.

OMELETTE is a super affectionate kitten who was surrendered to our local shelter with an umbilical hernia. The shelter contacted RCPA and we have taken care of all this guy’s medical needs.
