This past Saturday, we came together to celebrate the life of John Osborn.

It was a day filled with remembrance, stories, friendship and a shared appreciation for the impact John had on so many throughout Community Ambulance and the EMS community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring John and helped make his final ride and Celebration of Life so meaningful.

John’s impact on Community Ambulance, our people and the EMS community will not be forgotten.

This Saturday, August 29, we will come together to celebrate the life of John Osborn.

Prior to the service, a vehicle procession will accompany John on his final ride from Community Ambulance to Central Christian Church. The procession is expected to arrive at the church between 9:20 AM and 9:25 AM. The foot procession is expected to begin at approximately 9:35 AM.

Those attending are encouraged to arrive by 9:00 AM and park in the North Parking Lot. The North Parking Lot will close to incoming traffic at 9:15 AM to allow for the arrival of the procession. (Those arriving after 9:15 AM may park in the South or West Parking Lots.)

John’s Celebration of Life will begin at 10:00 AM.

August 7, 2010, Community Ambulance ran our very first call.

Sixteen years later, we’re proud to look back at where it all started and grateful for every employee, partner and member of our community who has been part of the journey.

This photo takes us back to our first year serving Southern Nevada. A lot has changed since then, and we’re still growing.

As we celebrate 16 years of service, we’re also looking ahead to the next chapter with our new headquarters now under construction in West Henderson.

The kids weren’t the only ones taking first day photos today! We got in on the back-to-school fun and had some of our team fill out their own first day signs.

As everyone gets back into the school year routine, remember to slow down in school zones, watch for students at crosswalks and bus stops, and give yourself a little extra time on the road.

With blood supplies remaining critically low across the country, we're proud to have partnered to American Red Cross of Nevada to host a blood drive last week.

Thanks to the generosity of our team and community, we collected 29 units of blood, 116% of our goal. We also welcomed 11 first time donors and collected 9 Power Red donations, helping make an even greater impact.

To everyone who rolled up a sleeve: thank you. Your generosity will help patients when they need it most.

When the temperature rises, so does the demand for emergency medical care.

Heat illness can happen faster than many people realize. Stay hydrated, take breaks in the shade or air conditioning, check on those who may be more vulnerable, and never leave children or pets in a parked car.

Today, we remember our Clinical Director, John Osborn.

John was a respected leader, trusted mentor, and cherished friend whose impact on Community Ambulance and the EMS profession will be felt for years to come. His compassion, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to serving others shaped countless careers and touched countless lives.

We extend our deepest condolences to John's family, loved ones, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest easy, John. Thank you for your leadership, your friendship, and the legacy you leave behind.
