As the week wraps up, we're taking a look back at our groundbreaking ceremony for Community Ambulance's future headquarters.

Construction continues to move quickly, and crews are scheduled to begin pouring the foundation on Monday.

A lot has happened since this day, and there's much more to come. Here's a look back at the event that helped kick off the project.

Who knows? We may have met a few future first responders this week.

We were excited to host Camp 911 participants at Community Ambulance, where campers learned Hands-Only CPR, Stop the Bleed techniques, and got a behind-the-scenes look at the equipment our crews use every day.

Thank you to the Henderson Police Department for being such great partners and for giving us the opportunity to be part of another great Camp 911.

As temperatures climb across Southern Nevada this week, knowing the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke could save a life.

Myth vs. Fact: They’re not the same thing.

Heat exhaustion is serious and requires immediate cooling and hydration. Heat stroke is a medical emergency that can quickly become life-threatening.

Whether you're working outside, attending an event, exercising, or enjoying the summer sun, take precautions:

💧 Stay hydrated
🧢 Wear lightweight clothing
🌳 Take breaks in the shade
🚨 Know the warning signs

A great day with Camp 911 at our headquarters! Campers learned lifesaving skills through Hands-Only CPR and Stop the Bleed training, toured our facility, and got hands-on experience with some of the equipment our EMTs and paramedics use in the field. Thanks for visiting us!

For more than a decade, Community Ambulance has been proud to call Henderson home.

Strong communities are built on more than emergency services. They're built on safe neighborhoods, parks, trails, youth programs, and places where families can gather and stay active.

That's why we support a YES vote on Ballot Question 1 to continue funding for Henderson's parks and recreation system.

If you live in the City of Henderson, please take a few minutes to learn about the measure and vote.

Early voting ends tomorrow and Election Day is June 9th. You can vote at any polling location in the County. Find a location at www.wemakeitpossible.org

During our recent Hometown Heroes Luncheon, we recognized 45 confirmed code saves from the first quarter of 2026. Patients who suffered cardiac arrest, received lifesaving care, and were ultimately discharged from the hospital.

As we kick off National CPR & AED Awareness Week, we're reminded that survival often begins long before an ambulance arrives. Bystander CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival, making CPR one of the most important skills anyone can learn.

This week, consider bringing CPR training to your workplace, school, or organization. The skills you learn could help save the life of a coworker, friend, family member, or even a stranger.

While many people assume most ambulance calls involve tourists, many of the patients we care for are local residents. Every day, our crews respond to emergencies in neighborhoods, homes, businesses, schools, and communities across Southern Nevada.

Whether you're heading out for the weekend or staying close to home, know that we're here when you need us.

Providing hometown care, with H.E.A.R.T.
