Helena band alumni Amelia Beland (‘24), Ross Tolbert (‘21), and Thomas Washer (‘25) are currently on an Auburn University Symphonic Winds study abroad performance tour in Japan! During their travels, they performed in joint concerts with music students from Japanese high schools in Tokyo and Hamamatsu; enjoyed a musical exchange with students in Osaka; learned traditional rhythms of Japanese culture in a hands-on taiko drum experience in Kyoto; and visited Tokyo DisneySea, Yamaha Innovation Road, and various shrines and temples. This photo was taken in front of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto. They will conclude their study abroad experience today in Kyoto with a tour of Nijō Castle, a tea ceremony, and dinner cruise. So proud of our Helena alumni!

2026 Band Banquet - We love celebrating our wonderful students! Incredibly, successful year! 21 of our Seniors reported scholarships that total over $932K!
