Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) foster based animal rescue in central Alabama, operated by a team of dedicated volunteers.

Our mission is to provide assistance to animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption.

Sometimes rescue stories don't have the happy ending we wish they would. 💔
Today, our hearts are broken as we said goodbye to Stanley.
Stanley came to Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary from a rural shelter about a year ago. We had hoped that someone would see what a special boy he was and give him the forever home he deserved. Sadly, that day never came.
Recently, Stanley was diagnosed with cancer, and today he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
While Stanley never got the adoption story we had hoped for, he got something just as meaningful. He got love. He got a home. And he got someone who made sure he never felt forgotten.
We are forever grateful to his foster dad, Stuart, who not only opened his home to Stanley but opened his heart to him as well. Stuart gave Stanley the one thing every rescue dog deserves, someone to call his own.
And maybe that's what we need to remind ourselves today. A forever home doesn't always come with adoption papers. Sometimes it's the foster home where a dog spends his final days surrounded by love.
Rest easy, sweet Stanley. We wish we could have given you more time, but we are so thankful you knew love before you left us.
You were loved.

This beautiful 25-pound Collie/Sheltie mix is the perfect combination of adventure buddy and professional snuggle bug!
Nova loves going for walks, rides beautifully in the car, and is just the right size to tag along on hikes, road trips, or wherever life takes you.
She's wonderful with other dogs, does great with cats, is house trained, and has a sweet, quiet personality. When the adventures are over, she's more than happy to curl up beside you for some snuggles.
At 8 years old, Nova is past all that puppy nonsense but still has plenty of pep in her step! She's truly a little gem who would make an amazing companion.
Nova's adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month — and we have something really special to share. 🍂🤍

Compassionate Crossings is proud to partner with Full Circle Rescue & Sanctuary this November to shine a light on four wonderful senior dogs looking for loving homes! 🐾

Each week throughout the month, we'll introduce you to one of these special dogs — sharing their stories, personalities, and all the little things that make them wonderful companions.

Senior dogs have so much love, personality, and companionship to offer. And sometimes, the perfect addition to a family comes with a little gray around the muzzle. 🤍

Full Circle Rescue & Sanctuary is a wonderful local organization dedicated to giving animals a second chance, and we're honored to support their mission throughout November. 🌿

33 precious lives found their forever homes last month, and we couldn't be happier!

November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month! ❤️

If you ask us, senior dogs are some of the most amazing dogs you'll ever have the privilege of loving.
There's just something special about an old dog. The gray faces, the slower steps, the little quirks, and those soulful eyes that seem to have a lifetime of stories behind them.
Senior dogs aren't asking for much. A soft bed, a full belly, a little sunshine, and someone to love them. Most are past the puppy chaos, perfectly content to spend their days napping, taking leisurely strolls, and keeping you company.
And don't let those gray muzzles fool you! Plenty of our seniors still have a little pep in their step and enough personality to keep us laughing daily.
At Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary, senior dogs hold a very special place in our hearts. Thanks to our partnership with The Grey Muzzle Organization, we're able to give so many older dogs the medical care, comfort, and second chances they deserve.
Some of these dogs have spent their entire lives loving someone, only to find themselves homeless in their golden years. They deserve so much better.
Throughout November, we'll be highlighting our wonderful senior dogs and sharing why we think adopting an older dog is one of the most rewarding things you can do.
They may have fewer years ahead of them, but they have a lifetime of love left to give.
And trust us, there's nothing quite like being loved by an old dog. ❤️

⭐️ Senior Saturday ⭐️
Pom Pom is 14 years young and looking for a very special forever home!
This precious little Pomeranian may not be able to see or hear well, but she certainly knows how to steal hearts!
Pom Pom was found abandoned in a creek, and although we don't know what her life was like before coming to Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary, we know she deserves nothing but love and comfort for the rest of it.
Pom Pom is a sweet little old lady who enjoys the simple things in life. She loves snuggling, lounging in a cozy bed, soaking up a little sunshine, and most importantly, FOOD! One of her favorite activities is being carried in a sling on morning walks so she can enjoy all the wonderful smells around her.
This little girl still has so much love to give. She needs someone with a patient heart who understands that senior dogs sometimes require a little extra care
Pom Pom isn't looking for grand adventures or a busy lifestyle. She's looking for a soft place to land, a warm bed, good food, and someone who will love her through her golden years.
She may need a little more care than the average dog, but she's worth every bit of it.

⭐️ Senior Saturday Spotlight: Zanie ⭐️

Some girls want adventure, excitement, and a life on the go. Zanie? She wants a couch, a soft blanket, and absolutely no plans for the weekend.
This adorable 7-year-old Shih Tzu mix has officially mastered the art of doing nothing, and she's pretty darn good at it!
Zanie is a sweet, easygoing little lady who loves nothing more than snuggling up beside her favorite person. She's great with other dogs, potty pad trained, and has the sweetest personality.
She's not asking for much. Just a comfy spot on your sofa, a few snacks, and someone willing to be her permanent snuggle buddy.
And really, isn't that the kind of relationship we're all looking for?
