Welcome!

We would like to welcome our new Associate Director of Bands Mr. Wyatt Pettry

Wyatt Pettry is a skilled musician and dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Alabama. During his time at UA, he served as the section leader for the Million Dollar Band quadline and was an active member of the University’s Percussion Ensemble. He performed with the ensemble at the PASIC IPEC Showcase in both 2022 and 2024, demonstrating his commitment to musical excellence at the national level. Wyatt has also performed with esteemed groups such as the Black Jacket Symphony and the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, gaining experience across diverse performance environments. His background reflects a strong foundation in both performance and education, with a focus on collaboration, leadership, and artistic growth.

Huge congratulations to Thomas Washer for winning the Glenn Spiller SoloFest Award for the second year in a row at the Alabama All State Festival!

Not only did he win the All State Solo Festival again, but he also earned the prestigious Lamar Triplett Scholarship—a testament to his talent, dedication, and passion for music.
