💙 Supporting Our Local Law Enforcement Through Harm Reduction Funding 💙
The Perry County ASAP Coalition is proud to partner with the Hazard Police Department by providing 18 new duty flashlights through Opioid Harm Reduction funding.
These high-performance flashlights will improve officer safety and provide reliable illumination during opioid-related investigations, evidence collection, searches, and other low-light situations where visibility is essential. Equipping officers with dependable tools helps strengthen their ability to safely investigate drug-related crimes and protect our community.
This investment reflects the Coalition's continued commitment to supporting evidence-based strategies that address the opioid epidemic while providing our local law enforcement officers with the resources they need to carry out their important work.
We appreciate the dedication and service of the Hazard Police Department and value the partnership we share in making Perry County a safer, healthier place for everyone.

Applications are now available for Camp UNITE 2026, to be held on the University of the Cumberlands campus in Williamsburg, KY, July 21-24. This will be the 20th summer Operation UNITE has held this program for middle school-aged youth in its service area.
