We are wrapping up our Christmas Tree Drive for families impacted by the flood. Because of your donations of trees and money, we were able to give 82 families a Christmas tree with lights and ornaments! It was such a blessing to see the gratefulness of the parents and the excitement of the kids when they got their trees. We were also able to gift Robinson Elementary and Buckhorn School (both schools destroyed by the flood) with a tree each to put up at school so that all of the students can enjoy them, too! It was not the Elves who blessed these families….it was YOU!!! Our local businesses, organizations, and so many individuals!!!! We live in a great town!!!! Merry Christmas, friends!!! 💚❤️🎄

As we are getting trees, the distribution to families has started. If you received a tree or will be receiving one, we would love for you to send us a picture of it all set up. We will post it without a name. We were blessed by so many businesses, groups, and individuals with trees and money, we want to be sure they see we are using it for its intended purpose (not to bring focus to the elves, themselves). None of this would have been possible without the awesome community we live in!!! ❤️💚🎄

The elves wanted to give you all an update after a great weekend! We have added to our list of businesses and organizations that have donated to our Christmas tree drive for families impacted by the flood. However, our list of sponsors actually has more individuals than businesses. How awesome is it that we live in a community where we love our neighbors and want to bless them at Christmas?! We are still expecting some monetary donations. Once we have everything in hand, we will let you know where we stand with our families. You all have been amazing!!!

The elves are still hard at work making sure every family on our list gets a Christmas tree!! We added some more names to the list of businesses, churches, and organizations stepping up to give back to the community. I will post a running list of those each day so that you all can show them some love!!! We still have around 18 families left (or donations of $2700), if anyone would like to sponsor (or donate) we would love to have ALL of the families covered by this weekend....or I'll just have to have a big cupcake sale and raise the money!

Last post today, I promise! 😆 We’ve officially made it over the halfway point in getting sponsors!!! Probably 90% of those sponsors are just community members who want to spread the Christmas cheer to their neighbors!!! We still have around 33 families for which we need sponsors or money to buy their trees and decorations. These families all have kids that attend one of the elementary schools in the Hazard or Perry Co school districts. These are all families with kids who have had to begin yet another “new normal” because their home was impacted by the flood or possibly destroyed. We know that there have been organizations step up to help with Christmas gifts, but these families have nothing to put those gifts under! Everyone knows that one of the joys of Christmas as a child is to see the Christmas tree all lit up and gifts from Santa underneath. Help us give these kids some normalcy and joy in a world that’s been turned upside down for them. Let us know if you want to sponsor a family or just donate some money. Every dollar helps!!!!! ❤️💚🎄
