The Hayward Community Food Shelf served 291 families in August! Each family also received a bonus meal through our Annual Summer Picnic Program.

Do you have a child with a September birthday? Tell our Client Services Representative and a Birthday Bag will be included in your order!

HCFS offers Birthday Bags to families with children ages 3 to 9 years of age. Bags are available during your child's birth month and contain cake mix, frosting, candles, and a small gift.

Thank you, Reel Livin' Resort and Campground!

Elise Kroll, owner of Reel Livin’ Resort & Campground, recently presented HCFS Chair Sandy Fuller with a generous $700 donation from their annual fundraiser benefiting the Hayward Community Food Shelf.

We are so grateful for your continued support! Your generosity is making a difference for those experiencing food insecurity in our communities.

Looking for a way to give back to your community? HCFS is a great place to volunteer!

Our hard-working group of volunteers performs all the duties necessary to keep HCFS operating smoothly and efficiently. From outside maintenance, to picking up donations, to filling orders, and keeping careful records, volunteers work together to “get it done” for our clients.

On Sunday, HCFS volunteers brought back an amazing 672 pounds of fresh produce from Morgarosa Farm! It took four cars to haul all the melons, squash, onions, green beans, tomatoes, cabbage, and eggplant for our clients.

That brings Morgarosa Farm’s total donation to the Hayward Community Food Shelf to an incredible 2,165 pounds of produce this season!

A huge thank you to Chad and Cathy for your vision, generosity, and hard work. You are making a real difference in our communities!

Anyone in need of food is welcome to come to Feed My People's Pop-Up pantry in Spooner on Wednesday. They will be distributing a variety of groceries at no cost to you.

❎No need to present an ID.

✅You may pick up food for more than one household.
