Bethesda Place

Bethesda Place 6 awesome men live and work at Bethesda Place... and those of us who get to work with them thought we should share that joy!

Bethesda Place is a local Christian non-profit founded by Tom and Shelley Stafford in 1979, when they began taking young men with developmental disabilities to live in their country home west of Hays. Bethesda Place is currently the home of 6 very talented men who have spent their lives living, working, playing, and praying together. The residents and staff of Bethesda Place lead a meaningful life

together as they grow trees for local landscaping development, garden to nourish themselves and others, and create an inspirational living community in which “two is better than one” – and together they overcome each of their unique challenges.
