This page is not monitored frequently and cannot provide any clinical or emergency services. Founded in 1964, High Plains Mental Health Center has been serving the residents of Northwest Kansas with mental health services for more than five decades. We are a Licensed Community Mental Health Center, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and Licensed Substance Use Disorder treatment program d

edicated to an aggressive pursuit of providing a comprehensive mental health program to the residents of Northwest Kansas. Embodied in this pursuit are fundamental principles of establishing quality services as close to home as possible, at an affordable fee and delivered in the least disruptive manner available. Such services will offer a continuum of care so that treatment can be individualized. Staff will respond quickly and compassionately to those reaching out to us. If you live within our 20-county service area, We’re Here for You! Our services include outpatient services (individual, family and group therapy); emergency services; community support services for adults and community based services for youth; substance use treatment; and public education and outreach. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income. We have a 24/7 crisis hotline: 1-800-432-0333. We value, believe, and practice:
The delivery of quality services, as close to home as possible, in a manner that is affordable and resource sensitive. That our customer is the client/patient and their community. A continuous quality improvement process focused on effective satisfaction and outcomes of service. A locally governed, administered, and delivered comprehensive community mental health system of service. Individualized treatment and services to assist individuals to live safely within their capacities as independently as they choose. The development, expansion, and sustaining of staff and Center capacities and competencies. Advocacy for our patients and communities focused on their needs and potentials. The importance of prevention and education for communities and individuals. Continuing education and training for our staff. The use of current bio-psycho-social models of treatment and service. High Plains Mental Health Center operates and maintains its Social Media site as a public service to provide information about its programs, services, projects, issues, events and activities. While we recognize and understand social media has become a place for individuals to express their thoughts and opinions on a variety of topics, this site is a limited public forum, not a general forum open to the public to comment on any and all matters, and High Plains staff moderates the page accordingly. Comments could be hidden from public view or deleted if:
A. The comment contains confidential PHI about treatment and diagnoses. These comments will be hidden whether they are positive or negative toward High Plains. This is a reflection of our efforts to protect patient privacy. Comments will meet this criteria if they disclose a patient’s diagnosis, identify someone as a patient of ours (current or former), or detail their treatment experience at High Plains. B. The commenter makes a threat toward High Plains or another person. If the comment could be understood as a criminal threat, the person also will be blocked from our page and additional action could be taken. C. The comment contains profanity, obscene, or explicit information. D. The comment references illegal activity. E. The comment advertises commercial products or services. F. The comment contains copyrighted or other infringing material. G. The comment is not topically related to the posts or limited public forum of the site. H. The comment contains material that can be considered a defamation of character to any individual or community agency, whether that individual is specifically named or if the comment is written in such a way that the viewing public can easily infer who the commenter is referring to. I High Plains reserves the right to block Facebook users from its page if an individual continually violates this social media commenting policy. High Plains has a team of staff members with access to our social media profiles. These accounts are monitored throughout the day. Comments meeting the above criteria will be hidden as soon as possible.

After trying multiple antidepressants and still feeling emotionally flat, Mariah began exploring other options for her depression. That’s when she discovered NeuroStar TMS. 💜

“At the end of treatment, I finally started noticing a difference. I have energy again, more than I ever had on antidepressants and without side effects.”

Today, Mariah is reconnecting with the things she loves most, including art, movement, and building healthier routines one step at a time.

Her story is a reminder that every mental health journey looks different, and finding the right path can take time.

Ready to chat about NeuroStar TMS therapy? We’re here to help you on your journey. Schedule a consultation today. 1-800-432-0333
