This video may be 10 years old, but the message is still relevant.

R**e culture isn’t just about individual acts of violence. It’s about the language, jokes, beliefs, behaviors, and social norms that can normalize or excuse violence against women.

The words we use matter. The behaviors we tolerate matter. And the messages we teach young people matter.

If we want to prevent domestic & sexual violence, we have to be willing to examine the culture we help create and challenge the attitudes that contribute to harm.

We are grateful for the opportunity to join these Wichita businesses for an incredible day of community, connection, and fundraising in support of our mission. From Pints With Purpose at Hopping Gnome to being named the Wichita Wind Surge’s Community Organization of the Game, we felt so welcomed and supported!

Partnerships like these help make our work possible, and we are incredibly thankful to everyone who came out, purchased a ticket, raised a glass, and helped support violence prevention.
