Happy Tuesday everyone! I just wanted to announce to everyone your new NSCS Chapter President for the 2020-2021 school year will be Graci Thompson! She’s been a very active member this past year and has shown a great interest in steering this chapter in the direction to bigger and better things!

As far as this past year has gone, I have been super lucky to have gotten the chance to be Chapter President and come up with new ideas and see them come to life! Thank you so much for the memories!

There will be NO meeting this upcoming Tuesday for our March general body meeting in consideration to those on campus members occupied with figuring out moving situations. We are still figuring out how to present our remainder meetings, so please bear with us. Stay safe everyone and please keep washing your hands!

With FHSU closing down campus for the remainder of the semester after spring break, we will try our hardest to coordinate to have some type of Zoom or Skype meetings online to keep our monthly meetings active. Since our April meeting was going to be all about our officer board elections, we will still keep our word about that. If you are interested in running for a position, please email me at [email protected] with your name, position, and why you’d make a great fit. The officer board will then make final decisions. Below are descriptions of the positions available to run for! 😊 Hope every has a safe spring break!

Reminder that we will have our March meeting next Tuesday where we will be holding a chalking event in the quad and we will also be handing out information regarding all the positions available on the officer board if you would wish to join!

Thanks to some awesome NSCS members, we were able to host our first tabling event in the Memorial Union last week to spread the word about NSCS to our FHSU students who might’ve received an email to join our nationwide society! 😁👍🏼

Reminder! There is a meeting tomorrow in the Trails Room @ 5 p.m. where every member is encouraged to bring their computers to work on tweaking or creating a resume! So don’t forget to bring your laptops! 😊

P.S. There will be a tabling event going on in the Memorial Union tomorrow from 10am-noon where NSCS members will be helping to spread the word about NSCS on campus! Keep an eye out!
