When Camden first heard about Miracle on Britton, he didn’t think it was real.

Like a lot of people his age, homeownership had started to feel more like something other people got to do.

So he kept working.
Kept saving.
Kept trying to stay hopeful.

Now he’s signing for a home of his own.

That’s why this work matters.

Not because every problem is magically solved overnight…

but because every once in a while, someone starts believing in a future they had almost talked themselves out of.

And that changes things 🧡

This is more than housing.

These are local families, local kids, neighbors, workers, and people who simply wanted the chance to stay in the community they call home.

For a long time, that dream felt out of reach for many North Idaho families. What PAHA is proving is that when people come together with creativity, partnerships, and a shared vision, real change can happen.

Keys are changing hands. Kids are running through homes their families never thought they’d have. A neighborhood is growing.

And this is only the beginning.

One year ago, these homes were still dirt, dreams, and a leap of faith.

Now they are real life. Real stability. Real ownership. Real proof that the starter home revival is not only possible… it’s already happening right here in our community.

There was a feeling in those early days that almost didn’t seem believable. Like… is this actually real? Is this really happening? For so many hardworking people, homeownership has started to feel out of reach or reserved for someone else.

But brave people change things.

The families and homeowners who stepped forward early trusted the process, believed in the vision, and became part of something bigger than themselves. They helped prove that attainable homeownership can still exist when builders, donors, leaders, and buyers all decide to believe in a different path forward.

One year later, we celebrate more than anniversaries. We celebrate courage, stability, community, and the beginning of a movement we believe will continue to grow.

Cheers to one year at home, and to the many more ahead 🏡✨

“He didn’t think it was real.”

Camden first heard about Miracle on Britton through a Facebook link his stepdad sent him. At the time, he was living back at his parents’ house, paying for a storage unit full of furniture, and trying to figure out if homeownership in North Idaho was even possible anymore.

Now here he is. Signing papers for his very own home at just 24 years old.

Not because someone handed him everything.
Because he kept trying. Kept working. Kept hoping there might still be a path forward.

This is why PAHA exists.

To create real opportunities for local workers who want to put down roots in the communities they already call home.

Congratulations, Camden. We cannot wait to watch this next chapter unfold. 🏡✨

Stay tuned for more of Camden’s story!!

Something beautiful is happening at Miracle on Britton.

The houses are becoming homes.

Flower beds are starting to bloom. Front porches are turning into little retreat spaces. Kids are watching the park come together with excitement. Neighbors are outside talking. People are settling in, adding personal touches, taking pride in what is theirs.

One neighbor smiled and said, “It’s our own little oasis.”

That’s the part people miss when they talk about attainable housing like it’s just numbers on paper. This is stability. This is belonging. This is the chance for families to put down roots and build something of their own.

You can feel it out there now. The neighborhood is coming to life. 🧡

One year later… and REAL people who had given up on the idea of homeownership are talking about their yards, their neighbors, and the feeling of finally having a place that feels like home.

That’s the bigger picture.

Not just building houses — building stability, pride, and futures people can actually see themselves in.

And the exciting part?

We’re just getting started. 🏡

Happy ONE YEAR anniversary to the very first Miracle on Britton homeowners, Taytem & Tyler 🤍

One year ago, this project stopped being an idea and became a real home, real stability, and a real example of what’s possible when people come together to create new pathways to attainable homeownership.

Watching this vision continue to grow has been incredibly special, and it all started right here.

Cheers to one year of memories at home, and to the many more ahead. 🏡✨

One of the things we love most about the Miracle on Britton project is seeing who these homes are actually serving. 🧡

Teachers. Young families. Tradespeople. Caregivers. Nurses.

People who work incredibly hard for this community every single day and still deserve a real shot at stable, attainable homeownership.

This Nurses Week, we especially want to recognize the nurses who spend their lives caring for others while often being priced out of the very communities they serve.

These homes are more than just houses. They represent possibility, stability, and a reminder that innovative solutions CAN exist when people are willing to work together differently.

To every nurse showing up day after day with compassion, grit, and heart… thank you. We see you, and we believe you deserve pathways to ownership in the communities you help hold together. 🫶🏼
