Dear volunteers, I have the privilege of watching you come to In Good Company respite every Friday and freely offer friendship, smiles, hugs, laughter, and radical kindness to our friends. You're AMAZING. You bring out the best in others as you share the best of yourselves. You offer hope and direction when our friends are struggling, and you rejoice when they have "eureka!" moments.
You're incredible people. I see the joy of the Lord in your actions, and hear His love in your words. I couldn't be more proud of the people you are, and are becoming. Thanks for serving. The world is a better place because YOU are in it. 💝💝💝💝

A very special "shout out" to all of the amazing volunteers that create joyful, loving, fun-filled, laughter-packed, meaningful days at Respite for All Foundation affiliates across the USA!
I'm SO proud to be a part of a team that when volunteers walk in the door for a Respite day, it stops being "all about them," stepping into the unknown ... a world of rewarding, sometimes serious and sometimes hilarious relationships with our special friends.
Thank you for your selfless, compassionate service. You have no idea how much love, light and good your presence brings into the lives of families living with dementia! 💜

Introducing our new program director: the incomparable Codi Spodnik! 👏🥳🎉 Codi brings over a decade of experience working with nonprofits to In Good Company. Her faith, creativity, and heart for service to seniors and developmentally challenged students uniquely positions her to help us build a community where families living with dementia can find the connection and support they need. We look forward to creating a place where joy, acceptance and encouragement is the norm for seniors living with dementia and their families!

Another week, another step closer to resuming respite services. 👏 Our meetings are going well; 90% sure of our new location. We still have so much to do! Budget planning is in progress. Please pray for our board to have wisdom and discernment as we forge ahead.

Future plans: start with one day a week to sort out the new design and expand as we go. 🚗💨 Hours for participants: 10 AM to 2 pm.

Would you like to help us get started? We need faithful volunteers! Please pray for (or consider being) “special someones” to help participants figure out activities/dance, etc., set up or tear down tables and chairs, prepare lunch for about 20-30 people, help provide music, arts and crafts, or teach a few dance moves. ‘Hoping to begin volunteer training in September. ‘Looking forward to new friends and a LOT of joy!

Hi all, a quick update for you:
We continue our search for a location for our respite care. We’re excited to have a couple of very strong possibilities, and are in the process of purchasing materials. (Woohoooo!) We’ll let you know as soon as we have a place secured and a solid reopening date. Keep on praying for God to provide the participants that need this service, and for the location, the staff and volunteers to serve them. We hope to start having some community meetings for feedback in the next few weeks. Thanks so much!
