๐ŸŒฑ Our greenhouse continues to flourish thanks to the generosity, dedication, and support of our community.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to former Board Member Danusia Pawska for her incredibly generous donation of plants to our greenhouse project. Her continued commitment to The Arc Westchester and the people we support helps create opportunities for learning, growth, and meaningful engagement throughout the year.

A special thank you also goes to Rickey, whose passion for teaching transforms every greenhouse activity into a valuable learning experience. Through his guidance, people supported by The Arc Westchester gain hands-on skills, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the care and dedication that goes into helping things grow.

Together, these contributions help keep our greenhouse thriving and ensure it remains a place where people can learn, connect, and take pride in their accomplishments.

Thank you for helping us cultivate something truly special. ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŽ“ Congratulations to the Project SEARCH Class of 2026!

Today, we celebrate a remarkable group of graduates who have dedicated the past year to building workplace skills, gaining hands-on experience, and preparing for meaningful careers. Through immersive internships, classroom instruction, and personalized support, these graduates have developed the confidence, independence, and professional skills needed to take the next step in their employment journey.

Project SEARCH empowers young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities to explore their strengths, discover new possibilities, and gain real-world experience in an integrated workplace setting.

We are incredibly proud of all that these graduates have accomplished and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their communities and workplaces.

A special thank you to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, a valued partner to The Arc Westchester through initiatives including Project SEARCH at NYP Westchester Behavioral Healthโ€™s Center for Autism and the Developing Brain. Your partnership helps create meaningful opportunities and brighter futures for the people we support.

โœจ โ€œSuccess is not defined by where you begin, but by the courage to keep moving forward toward your goals.โ€

Celebrating 10 years of impact, inclusion, and community โœจ๐Ÿฆ‹

We were honored to join Volunteer New York in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the RISE program, a powerful initiative creating meaningful volunteer opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities throughout Westchester County. ๐Ÿ’›

At The Arc Westchester, we know the value of connection, purpose, and belonging, and RISE continues to embody all of that and more. It was inspiring to celebrate alongside fellow nonprofit partners, volunteers, families, and community leaders who are helping build a more inclusive community for all.

A special thank you to Volunteer New York! for their continued partnership and commitment to empowering people through service and inclusion. Congratulations on a decade of incredible impact, we look forward to seeing all thatโ€™s ahead! ๐Ÿค

We were honored to welcome several leaders from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital for a meaningful visit to The Arc Westchester. ๐Ÿ’™

Through their continued partnership and support โ€” especially with Project SEARCH at the NYP Westchester Behavioral Healthโ€™s Center for Autism and the Developing Brain, our Parenting Grocery Program, and community events โ€” NYP continues to make a lasting impact on the people and families we serve.

Visits like these are an important reminder of the power of community partnerships and what can be accomplished when organizations come together with a shared commitment to inclusion, opportunity, and support.

Thank you, NewYork-Presbyterian, for taking the time to connect with our mission and see firsthand the impact of your support. โœจ
