To all celebrating today...Glad Mors Dag och Grattis på Mors Dag! My grandmother, a proud member of Lodge Viking #131 (which would eventually be incorporated into Freja #100) would often talk about how our church pastor, Rev. Elmore Nelson, would sing this in church on Mother's Day. Grandma and Ken, we're keeping it going 🫡 Who was ever like you? No one in the whole world.

What a terrific Spring Dinner we had this evening! Notice how there are no photos of any people...because no one remembered to take a group photo during the party! We were all talking a mile a minute, and before anyone knew it, three hours had passed! Thanks to our Lodge Treasurer and Historian for capturing these food and beverage photos so there is at least SOME proof of our spectacular evening together! We also heard a presentation on Eurovision and Sweden's involvement over the years as the winningest nation, complete with slideshow presentation featuring various winners and snapshots of competitions from over the years. Dinner opened with "I Jesu namn" and we thought of friends and family from days gone by as we shared in the goodness with which our lodge has been especially blessed. Again a hearty thank you (många tusen tack!) to everyone for participating, and we look forward to another get-together soon! Tesoro d'Italia of Pleasantville, thank you for a fantastic evening! Vi ses snart!!
