Weekend Update ⚽

Hi Chappaqua AYSO families,

With the weather forecast this weekend, we know there have been a lot of cancellations to events around town. We want to keep you posted on where things stand for soccer.

We’ll be making a decision in the morning, based on the status of the fields, as to whether soccer is going to be happening. Please keep an eye out for a follow-up post first thing, and we’ll confirm one way or the other as soon as we can.

Thanks for your patience, and fingers crossed for the fields! 🌦️

⚽ 2 DAYS AWAY — OPENING DAY JAMBOREE IS THIS SATURDAY, SEPT 12! Cleats by the door, water bottle filled, ball in the car. It’s almost here! 🧡💙

A jamboree means fun games only — no standings, no scores kept, no pressure. Just kids playing, coaches coaching, and parents on the sideline remembering why we do this.

🍎 To our families observing Rosh Hashanah: Shanah Tovah from all of us at Region 139. We know this weekend overlaps the holiday, and that’s exactly why we made opening day a jamboree — if you’re celebrating and can’t make it Saturday, nothing is missed and nothing is lost. Your player will jump right in next week.

⏰ Times and fields vary by age group, so check with your age group rep for your exact start time and location.

See you out there. 🎉
