Now Enrolling – Jr. Artists’ in Residence!
Does your child love to draw, paint, and create? The LaVerne Clark Foundation is excited to present an inclusive art program designed for ALL children!

Led by Master Artist Kristen Ann Santiago—a highly experienced teacher, workshop leader, and passionate advocate for youth in the arts (fingerprinted and vetted)

This program goes beyond what children experience in school. Thematic unit: The Kensico Dam: Past, Present & Future.

Curriculum includes modifications to support all Jr. Artists

Each session will nurture creativity, self-expression, and confidence in a supportive and welcoming environment.

6-Week Sessions Begin November 7th, 2025
Open to ALL children, grades K-5
2 Time Slots
6:00 pm - 7:15 pm: Grades K - 2
7:30 pm - 8:45 pm: Grades 3 - 5.
Max 12 students per class
Small group setting for personalized attention

Team LCF Presents: Jr. Artists’ in Residence!

This November, we launche our inaugural 6-week art workshop led by our Artist-in-Residence, Kristen Ann Santiago — a master artist with NYC gallery experience and over almost a decade of experience as the Art Lead for the NYC YMCA. Kristen is fully fingerprinted and vetted, ensuring both excellence and safety for our families.

Workshop Focus: The Kensico Dam – Past, Present & Future
Students will explore shape, color, and texture, connect with local history, and build community through their artwork.

Digital Portfolios: At the end of the session, every student will receive a digital portfolio showcasing their work, in addition to taking their work home!

Class Dates:
11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 12/5, 12/12, 12/19

Times:
Grades K–2 → 6:00 – 7:15 pm
Grades 3–5 → 7:30 – 8:45 pm

Cost: $180 for the full 6-week session ($30/class). All supplies included thanks to our friends at Miskeen Originals for donating the art supplies.

We are pleased to announce that Sunrise Scholars will provide Full Day Care on September 2nd & 3rd, ensuring families have a safe and structured option during the days leading into the new school year.

7:30 am - 4:00 pm

In addition, our Early Morning Drop-Off Program will continue for the 2025–2026 school year, supporting working families who require care before the school day begins. Children start their mornings in a nurturing environment designed to promote readiness, confidence, and a positive start to the day.
