Assalamualaikum,
Yesterday, we had a fantastic BBQ gathering at the Islamic Center of Delaware County. More than 700 adults and children came together to enjoy delicious grilled food, great fellowship, and a wonderful day with our community.

First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our dedicated volunteers for their tireless service and commitment to our masjid. Your hard work and selfless efforts made this event possible.

We also sincerely thank ICNA Relief and Zakat Foundation for generously providing free backpacks and school supplies for our youth as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

Overall, the event was a tremendous success. Organizing and preparing food for such a large gathering in a short period of time was no small task. While I don't want to single out individuals by name, the entire BBQ organizing team deserves special recognition for their outstanding planning, teamwork, and dedication. They achieved their goals smoothly and without any issues.

Alhamdulillah, may Allah (SWT) accept everyone's efforts, bless all of our volunteers and supporters, and continue to unite our community.

Alhamdulillah!

Today was a beautiful reminder of what a community can accomplish when people come together for the sake of Allah.

A sincere JazakAllahu Khairan to everyone who volunteered, helped organize, grilled, served, and attended our ICDC BBQ Get Together & Back-to-School Backpack Distribution. Your time, generosity, and hard work made this event possible.

It was wonderful to enjoy a delicious spread of BBQ chicken, burgers, naan, watermelon, ice cream, cake, and more, spend time together as a community, and help prepare our students for the upcoming school year.

May Allah (SWT) accept every effort, bless all of our volunteers, and continue to unite our community in goodness and barakah.

A special thank you to ICNA Relief, Zakat Foundation, and every family who joined us.

Support the ICDC Masjid Remodeling Project

Build a House for Allah. Build Your Home in Jannah.
Imagine standing before Allah on the Day of Judgment and finding years of reward still being written in your book of deeds because you helped build His house.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." (Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

The Islamic Center of Delaware County has become a home for countless Muslims—a place where children learn the Qur'an, families gather for prayer, new Muslims find guidance, and hearts reconnect with Allah. Every day, this masjid is filled with worship, knowledge, and service to the community.

As our community grows, our masjid is in urgent need of remodeling. We are transforming the front of the building with beautiful Islamic architecture, including three domes, creating a welcoming and dignified house of Allah that will serve generations to come.

Think about every prayer offered inside these walls. Every child who memorizes a verse of the Qur'an. Every tear shed in sincere du'a. Every Ramadan iftar, every Eid gathering, every shahadah, every lesson, every act of charity that begins here. By Allah's permission, your support today can earn you rewards for every one of those moments for years to come.

Perhaps this donation is the deed that Allah accepts. Perhaps it is the charity that continues to benefit you after your last breath. Perhaps it is the reason Allah grants you ease in this life and a home in Jannah.
