Our Mission:

The mission of Kids Hub is to utilize a multidisciplinary approach when responding to child abuse in a way that helps to reduce trauma for child victims and their non-offending caregivers through the use of advocacy, education, prevention and referrals for appropriate services. Who we are:

Kids Hub is a non-profit organization with an established Board of Directors. What will we do:

Kids Hub will offer an array of services to child victims of abuse and their non-offending caregivers. Services will include, but are not limited to: forensic interviews, family and victim advocacy, child abuse prevention education within the community and multidisciplinary team case review. What you can do to help:

1) Recognize that child abuse exists in your community.
2) Decide how you can help Kids Hub stand in the gap, and give a voice to children.
3) Donate Now.

We are proud to share that our Founder and CEO, DiDi Ellis, was selected to participate in this year's Leadership Pinebelt program through the Area Development Partnership!

Leadership Pinebelt brings together leaders from across our region to learn more about the challenges and opportunities facing the Pine Belt while developing their leadership skills, strengthening community connections, and working together to create meaningful change.

As part of the program, DiDi and her classmates created OH BABY, Buckle Up!, a Child Passenger Safety Initiative designed to promote child passenger safety and help ensure children travel safely in our community.

We are grateful for DiDi's dedication to serving children and families, not only through Kids Hub but throughout the Pine Belt. Congratulations to DiDi and the entire Leadership Pinebelt Class on their hard work and commitment to making our community stronger.

Kids Hub is excited to announce the launch of our new prevention initiative, ROAR!

ROAR is a child friendly body safety program for children ages 4 to 8 designed to equip children and families with essential body safety knowledge through age appropriate and engaging lessons.

Developed by The CARE Center, ROAR helps children and caregivers learn about body boundaries, recognize when something does not feel right, and speak up to a trusted adult.

To help bring these lessons to life, we are also introducing a new friend to the community, Rex the Lion, who, along with his friends, helps guide children through ROAR in a fun and approachable way.

At the heart of the program are the Rules of ROARing:

🦁 R Remember: Privates Are Private
🦁 O Okay to Say No
🦁 A Always Talk About Secrets
🦁 R Raise Your Voice and Tell Someone

Through interactive learning and age-appropriate messaging, ROAR helps children build confidence and empowers them to seek help from trusted adults.

We are now scheduling ROAR trainings for schools, organizations, and community groups across our community.

April has come to an end, and what a success it was!

Thank you to every advocate, partner, volunteer, and supporter who took part in Child Abuse Prevention Month. Your time, your voice, and your efforts helped raise awareness and bring people together in meaningful ways.

Because of you, more conversations are happening and more children and families are being supported. We are grateful for all you have done and proud of what we have accomplished together.

Ring, ring, ring… that may be a Southern Miss sales student calling with a purpose! 📞 This April, students in Kevin Buckley's MKT 400 class put their cold calling skills to work on behalf of Kids Hub! Not only have these students raised awareness about child abuse prevention, they’ve raised over $9,000 to support us.

On Friday, we celebrated the impact of 106 women at our Power of 100 Women Luncheon. These women raised a record-breaking $149,130 to support the work of Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center.

This circle is more than generosity; it’s women across the Pine Belt choosing to turn their influence into meaningful, lasting impact. Through their commitment, they are helping sustain our mission and ensuring that children and families have access to the care, advocacy, and support they need.

It was a powerful reminder of what can happen when women come together with purpose.
