IF YOU'RE NEW TO YOUR JEEP!!
A few “truths” about “Jeep life”:
1. Please do not ask about the gas mileage. (You just bought the wrong vehicle.)
2. Wind noise, assorted squeaks and rattles come free of charge, I wouldn’t spend time or money on that concern.
3. Leaks are a way of life now. Carry a towel and an emergency tarp for the bad days.
4. Your Jeep loves you and you will absolutely love your Jeep everyday for the rest of your life, despite 1-3....
5. Buy the lift kit you can afford, not the one for status.
6. When you buy your lift go ahead and get the next inch higher. You won't regret it.
7. Don't ask about the best tire.....that is a 9,000 reply and heated discussion post.
8. When you do the lift replace the tire, possibly wheels, at that time....."Don't skip leg day."
9. Just like a brand of lift or tires, don't ask what is the best color for your Jeep.....choose what you like.
**10. Your Jeep will earn it's name.....again, don't ask on forums.
11. Do not go wheeling alone.
12. Remember it's your Jeep, personalize it to your taste.
13. If you think you want 33” tires, go 35”. If you think you want 35”, go 37”. Don’t forget new gears, axle shafts, driveshafts, ball joints, etc!
14. If you don’t have glass coverage as part of your auto insurance policy, stop reading the comments and call your insurance company immediately.
Have fun, take the doors off, put the top down, smile, and Wave!✋
I copied this from another post. I loved it so I’m sharing it.
