Catastrophic flooding has devastated communities across approximately 150 miles of Nepal, burying homes, farmland, and livestock beneath as much as ten feet of sand and silt. In one village in Kispang alone, more than 42 people lost their lives.

Within days of the flooding, Commissioned International’s national staff began delivering emergency assistance to affected communities. So far, they have provided 50 families with food, clean water, cooking supplies, medicine, sleeping mats, and other essential items. They have also supplied provisions to army and police personnel serving in the disaster zone.

But the need is far from over. Many families have lost not only their homes, but also the land on which they depended. Recovery will take months.

A gift of $100 can provide essential supplies for one family, including a water filter that delivers clean water for years. Every gift helps meet an urgent physical need while creating opportunities for our team to share the hope of Christ.

Please pray for the families affected, our national staff serving on the ground, and the relief team preparing to join them.

Nepal needs our prayers today. 🇳🇵

In the wake of devastating flooding near the Nepal–Tibet border, communities are facing profound loss and uncertainty. Families are grieving, others are still waiting for news, and rescue and recovery efforts continue in difficult conditions.

As you watch this reel, join us in praying for the people of Nepal—for comfort in grief, strength in uncertainty, provision in loss, safety for those responding, and hope in the days ahead.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way…”
— Psalm 46:1–2

Today, we stand with Nepal in prayer.

God has given our ministry one mission with six expressions. Across Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Asia, we equip national pastors to shepherd healthy churches, bring medical and dental care to underserved communities, provide family for the orphaned and vulnerable, educate children in both knowledge and the truth of the gospel, care for the missionaries who serve far from home, and mobilize teams of everyday believers to labor alongside them all. Six doors, opening into the same house: the Great Commission. Swipe through, and as you do, we would invite you to ask the Lord which of these doors He may be opening for you.

Madison comes from a small town in Kentucky. But through serving with Commissioned International, God has been showing her just how far the gifts He has given her can reach.

For Madison, that gift is nursing.

And somewhere along the way, serving across cultures helped her to form a clearer picture of her calling.

“The love of Jesus surpasses any boundaries of language or nationality.”

That’s what happens when we place what God has given us back into His hands. Our skills become ways to serve, and our picture of what God might do with our lives gets a whole lot bigger.

As Madison put it:

“God has such a bigger plan for the skills that He’s given us than we could ever imagine.”

Maybe the question isn’t simply whether you’re called to go.
Maybe it’s: What has God already placed in your hands that He could use?

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19–20)

Those words are the reason pastors are trained, the reason churches are planted in places that have never had one, and the reason ordinary believers keep boarding planes with one week to give. None of them go because they are extraordinary. They go because Christ is worthy of the worship of every nation, and because He has promised to go with them.

As you close out this Sunday, will you take a moment to pray for the pastors, missionaries, teachers, and teams serving throughout Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Asia? Pray for open doors and open hearts. Pray for endurance in the long, unglamorous middle of the work. Pray for the families they have left behind and the ones they are learning to love.

Comment with the country you're lifting up tonight, and we will make sure the teams on the ground know they were prayed for.

Before it was ever an organization, it was a command: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations." For decades, that call has carried ordinary people from churches across this country to mountain villages in Honduras, to neighborhoods in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and across Asia. We go to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and minister to the poor. And we never go alone. We go with churches like yours, and we go with the promise that has sustained every generation of the sent: "And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." This is why we go. We would be honored to have you with us.

In El Cortijo, Matagalpa, the Gospel reached homes across mountains and distance.
Over four days, 25 homes were visited, 50+ people heard the message, and 32 children were served through VBS.

6 children and 9 adults gave their lives to Christ. 2 rededicated their faith. Through your support, families received food, care, and the truth of Scripture, opening the door to continued ministry.
The work continues.
