🚨 Wiffle Bowl Update 🚨

Mother Nature has officially called a timeout. 🌧️⚾️

With the forecast looking pretty rough for Sunday, we’ve made the tough decision to CANCEL Wiffle Bowl 2026 on Sunday September 13th.

We hate to do it. We’ve been looking forward to another awesome day on the field with all of you, but between the weather, field conditions, and everything that goes into making this event happen, we just don’t think Sunday is going to give us the Wiffle Bowl day everyone deserves.

And because we know this isn’t the news anyone wanted to hear, we’re going one step further and refunding all registered teams AND all presale ice cream tickets. 💙

Our registration info says team fees are non-refundable, but we’re making an exception this year and returning your registration money. We hope you’ll appreciate that we’re doing everything we can to make this right for our teams.

To everyone who registered, volunteered, sponsored, booked a booth, donated ice cream, or helped us get ready — THANK YOU. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

✨ Volunteer Spotlight ✨ Lisa Cole

💙 What originally made you want to join Danvers FalconFest?

I joined FalconFest because I missed the community events we used to have in Danvers. I remember driving through the Square one 4th of July and feeling sad that there was nothing happening in the days leading up to the holiday, especially the fireworks. I thought back to when the town would send a schedule of events with the electric bill, and I’d mark them on our calendar and try to attend as many as we could. Those events created so many great memories, and I wanted to help bring that back for other families.

📣 How did you first hear about us?

I saw a Facebook post inviting people to a meeting about bringing the fireworks back. My daughter encouraged me to go, and I’m so glad she did!

🤝 Did you know anyone before joining?

I knew a few people at the meeting, but I went because I wanted to get involved and help bring family events back to Danvers.

🎉 What keeps you coming back?

Seeing people smile, families spending time together, and knowing we’re helping create happy memories keeps me coming back.

🎆 What’s your favorite FalconFest memory?

Seeing the return of the fireworks. Watching our community come together for something so many people had missed was incredible.

❤️ What makes FalconFest special?

It’s the dedication and teamwork behind every event. FalconFest is about more than hosting events—it’s about bringing our community together, celebrating our town, and creating lasting memories.

🙌 Any advice for someone thinking about joining?

Even a small commitment can make a big impact. Whether you help behind the scenes, share ideas, secure donations, or volunteer for an hour at an event, your time matters.

FalconFest is entirely volunteer-run, and we can’t do it without our community. If everyone gives a little, together we can continue creating fun, memorable events for Danvers families! 💙

⚾ WIFFLE BOWL SPOTLIGHT: EAST COAST WIFFLE BALL! ⚾

Wiffle Bowl wouldn’t be Wiffle Bowl without East Coast Wiffle Ball!

ECWB has co-hosted this event with us every year since the very beginning, bringing their knowledge, experience and love of the game to the fields and helping us make Wiffle Bowl such a fun day for everyone who plays.

And these guys know wiffle ball. 🙌

East Coast Wiffle Ball is a competitive local league for players looking to take their game to the next level. If you come out to Wiffle Bowl and discover you’re ready for a little more competition — or you already know you are — definitely check them out and see what ECWB is all about!

We’re incredibly grateful to have them back alongside us for year FOUR of Wiffle Bowl! 💙

And speaking of playing...

⚾ TEAM REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN!

Grab your friends, family, neighbors or coworkers and get a team together. You don’t need ECWB-level skills to play in Wiffle Bowl — you just need a crew ready to have some fun!
