The Shawn Thornton Foundation and SIG SAUER are bringing people together for an important conversation around firearm safety, education, and awareness. We believe the first step to ending gun violence begins with responsible gun ownership.

We approach this topic with respect for every family and community impacted by gun violence, and with the belief that education and responsible practices matter.

15 years ago, I walked into my first Jiu Jitsu gym with my friend Gregg Miles not knowing what I was getting myself into. Today, I was honored to receive my black belt from Professor Nei Seda — a milestone that means a lot to me after years of hard work, humbling moments, and great people along the way.
