A performance begins long before the stage.
In the studio…. In Rehearsals….. In the long hours spent learning, refining, building, creating and imagining….

Ticket sales are just a small part of what makes a professional-level performance possible, but they are not enough to sustain the work behind it. Dance Del Bello’s Annual Fund helps support the dancers, rehearsals, production, costumes, outreach and the many details that bring live dance to our community.

Dance Del Bello is dedicated to continuing to bring ballet and modern dance to stage. If you believe professional dance belongs in the greater Philadelphia area, we invite you to be part of sustaining it.

💃Your support keeps us dancing!
♥️With Gratitude!

“Twas ever thus”

Among the warmth of the Cratchit home, there is another figure…

A Christmas Carol beautifully puts lens to the recurring flaws of human nature, systemic power dynamics that shape our lives, and the inevitable disappointments we all carry - while asking whether we are capable of compassion and change.

The Past has a way of finding us….

Sometimes it arrives quietly.
Sometimes it arrives uninvited.
Sometimes it walks straight through the door.
Sometimes it takes you by the hand.

Sometimes it asks us to dance…

Would you dance with your past?!
Even if it knew everything about you?!
Even if it know what we have forgotten?!

There are stories that belong to a season.
And then there are stories that become part of the season itself.

This November, Dance Del Bello returns with A Christmas Carol, the ballet by David Kloss - a beloved holiday tradition where Dickens’ timeless ghost story comes to life through dance.

Something is stirring…
From the shadows of the underworld, restless spirits are rising….

They follow Marley. They haunt Scrooge.
And they are coming with a warning…

The shades are stirring. Are you ready?
