Last year Teresa & Jay Canada experienced a scary moment with the birth of their son William. MLH Family Care Center nurses were able to save baby William’s life and stabilize him for transport to Omaha. On Monday June 1, the family returned to MLH to visit with the heroic nurses who were able to hold the now happy, healthy baby. To show their gratitude, the family presented the first of an ongoing annual gift in support of nurse training for fetal monitoring certification. The Mary Lanning Healthcare Foundation is so grateful to this family for their generous gift and for sharing their uplifting story.
