Prairie Loft Center for Outdoor and Agricultural Learning

Prairie Loft Center for Outdoor and Agricultural Learning Located just west of Hastings, Nebraska. Prairie Loft incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2005 and began offering programs for all ages in late 2007.

The region's only outdoor and agricultural learning center focusing on getting people of all ages outdoors, creating connections and building an appreciation for agriculture. Since then, nearly 83,000 visitors have attended programs, events, and other activities.

Plant Power was such a success last summer that we made it three days! Send your kiddos to this camp to learn more about the native plants in our area and all of the incredible things they can do. During these camp days, campers will collect and learn how to identify edible native plants, and will get an opportunity to work with heir peers to make snack, play, and form connections!

This camp is for ages 7-14 and runs June 9th, 10th, and 11th from 9-2. Register now to reserve your spot!

Summer camp season is in full swing over here at Prairie Loft! For parents of multiple kiddos, we know that can mean budgeting to make sure everyone gets to do everything, and we want to help. This summer, we're starting a sibling discount. Our camps now get cheaper when you're enrolling multiple kiddos!

Enroll one sibling and get $10 off your second kiddo's admission. Once you add a third camper, you'll get $15 off of that and any additional admission rates.

Our camp AgVentures still has open slots! Get your budding gardeners out to learn and grow with us. At this day camp, your kiddos will learn all about where the food they eat comes from, and do hands-on work in Prairie Loft's community garden! Join us in making agricultural education accessible. This camp is for ages 7-14, runs from 9 AM-4 PM, and costs only $40 (with scholarships available). Don't miss your chance to get your kids outside this week!

🌟Meet the 2026 Prairie Loft Program Guides!☀️

Summer camps start tomorrow, and we couldn't be more excited!! Everyone is ready to go on adventures, discover new things, and have fun with all of the campers this summer. Welcome, Brooklyn, Leah, and Mandolin, and welcome back, Lexi and Athena!

It is not too late to sign your kiddo up. Come on an AgVenture next Friday, create some magic at Plant Power, or let your 3-year-old explore at Little Critters! All of our openings can be found on our website. Scholarships are still available to anyone who is interested. See you soon!
