Summer is bittersweet in school based mentoring. Everyone is happy for all the summer fun, but this also means no more time with mentors. It's hard to see the break, but it allows us time to reflect on moments like this that help us understand how much good our mentors are doing. So much good!! ❤️🥹

Today is not about MentoringWorks, or really any organization that you choose to support. Its about this 👇👇

It's about connection, building relationships, helping our community members! Providing healthy & safe activities for children, building a safe environment for women and children that seek it, food for families in need, services & support for the elderly - the list goes on & on! With 100+ organizations to support today, the list of services provided is overwhelming. We have a generous, caring & loving community and we at MentoringWorks are just so proud to be part of it!!

Give Hastings Day is THIS WEEK! 🎉

Help us support our CareerConnect matches and better provide job shadowing opportunities to our rural schools!!

Your donations will be used to fine tune our growing CareerConnect program. This program provides job shadowing opportunities for students who are excited about investing in their future. Our mentees get to experience real life, hands on activity in a local business and learn realistic steps to success from their mentor. We are passionate about supporting our future business leaders and ensuring the professional growth of Hastings!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Lawrence-Nelson Schools to our program for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year!! The excitement and support we have already received from school admin tells me this will be a thriving program with so much to offer both mentees and mentors alike!! ❤️

Connect Today. Transform Tomorrow.

30 minutes with a mentor is not a long time, but if all that happened was a board game and some shared smiles, then that 30 minutes was a success! For some of our kiddos (mentors included) that may have been their first smile of the day, and that can carry over and make it a great day! Heck, even a great week!! 🤩
