We are extremely proud and absolutely blown away to share that because of you all, Owen’s Battle Buddies will be giving $41,200 to families battling pediatric cancer! 😭💙❤️
The Owen’s Battle Buddies 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament was absolutely amazing. We started talking about the idea of this golf tournament back in August 2025 with your board members and family. At the time, I think a lot of them thought we (Josh) were crazy, or at least our goal in mind to reach was crazy. We have never planned a tournament before, I’ve never played in one before but we wanted to host one, because we felt that would be such a fun event to honor Owen and raise funds for families.
Golf Tournament’s take a lot of planning. Finding the course, and we found the perfect one! The Golf Club at Creekmoor, it’s such a beautiful course!! Their staff and team made planning and the day of the event so stress free and easy!! You have to gather sponsors for the event, donation/raffle items, auction items, plan your food and drinks, gather volunteers, design flyers, posters and create a smooth process for players to register and check in day of. SO many little pieces one would not think of. But we did it! We did it all! ❤️💙
We had so many great business, companies and people step up and be apart of this amazing event! It was truly awesome to see how they wanted to be involved in making this tournament something special. A HUGE thank you to all our sponsors, donors, golfers, volunteers, family, friends and everyone who made The 1st Annual Owen’s Battle Buddies Charity Golf Tournament the most perfect day.
Because of each and every person who was been along on our journey, and apart of events like this, Owen’s legacy lives on, through every laugh, smile, hug, story and families helped. That is our goal with Owen’s Battle Buddies, and we are doing exactly that!
