THE TUTU TAKEDOWN IS BACK,
THIS TIME WITH A PATRIOTIC TWIST! 🇺🇸

If you missed it last year, here’s the deal... The Tutu Takedown is our chance to have a little fun with some of our Harrisonville Schools staff while raising funds for Bright Futures! Schools rally donations behind their representatives, and when the fundraising dust settles, some very good sports will have to don the tutus and take one for the team at the football game! 😂

But this year, we’re upping the ante.
🏆 IT’S SCHOOL vs. SCHOOL! 🏆

Beginning tomorrow, our Harrisonville schools will be battling to see which building can raise the most for Bright Futures Harrisonville.

Stay tuned from your child's/children's school/schools to learn more about cash donation collection instructions! Online donations are also now open through our Zeffy and Venmo platforms. (Note, when donating online, make sure to simply choose, or note, the school/teacher you want your donation credited to!)

So pick your school. Rally your people. Share the fundraiser. And start stacking those donations... because while there may be only one school at the top of the leaderboard, every dollar raised benefits Bright Futures Harrisonville and our work to help ensure children throughout our district have the basic needs, resources and supplies they need to succeed. ❤️

🚨 DO NOT BUY A TICKET TO THE GAME! Instead, bring a donation for Bright Futures for your admission. We’ll be collecting packs of new socks and underwear in youth through adult sizes - some of the most frequently requested basic-need items for our students - or accepting cash donations at the gate for entry!

We have a preschool student who is in need of pull-ups and potty training underwear. Potty training underwear should be size 4 and pull-ups should be size 4t-5t. These are for a boy. Please comment below of you can help. Items can be dropped off at ECC, 500 Eastwood Road, to nurse Linda Hipp.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE TOMORROW!
Applications are now open for the 206-27 weekend food program. The application deadline is Friday, August 28.

This school year, Bright Futures Harrisonville will once again distribute our weekend food program through monthly food distribution events for families.
Please complete this form IF your family is in need of our weekend food program and you live within the boundaries of the Harrisonville School District.

**You will also need to complete the Free & Reduced Meal application in Campus Parent (see instructions below) or by visiting a school to get a paper copy of the form.

Drive-Thru pick-up is the PREFERRED method of food distribution again this year. Please ONLY select home delivery if you have no transportation method to come pick up food. We will offer a Day Group and an Evening Group pick up option.

Day Group Pick Up Time: 10:30am - 11:30am
Evening Group Pick Up Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Home Delivery: between 10:30am - 12:30 pm

Our distribution schedule for this school year will be:

Thurs., Nov 19
Thurs., Dec 17
Thurs., Jan 21
Thurs., Feb 18
Thurs., March 18
Thurs., April 15
Thurs., May 13

We will send a reminder email to families each month with date and time information.
The pick-up location will be our Bright Futures building: Station 42.

NOTE: If you miss two pick-ups in a row without contacting us, you will be removed from the program.
