The HFA Harrison office is SO proud to wrap up this month by celebrating a huge accomplishment from one of our very own Family Support Specialists!
Just like the goals we help families in our program set and achieve, we also have goals as an HFA team that we work hard to reach. Ashley Robinson has wanted to earn her Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification for quite some time — and last week… SHE DID IT!
Harrison HFA now has its very own Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician on staff!
A HUGE congratulations to our Ashley on this incredible accomplishment. We are beyond proud of you and all the hard work you put into achieving this goal!

May was awesome and busy for the Harrison HFA office! We had some great events and made some awesome connections! We kicked things off with a super Mother's Day Huddle, thanks to our friends at Northvale Baptist Church! The evening was great - yummy food, and a helpful presentation from UA Northark about their TRIO program. We ended the night with a fun painting activity that the moms and kids loved. It was a wonderful evening celebrating friendships. Looking forward to our Summer Pool Party in July!
Another special moment was the gifting of diapers, wipes, and burp cloths by our friends from the University of Arkansas Extension Homemakers. They have been so gracious to provide much needed items this year. We are so thankful for their continued support of our families!

We’re wrapping up this incredible week of celebration by sharing a special message from a family who has been part of Healthy Families for quite some time. Their journey is just one of many that remind us why this program matters so much.

We are beyond proud of the families who have achieved meaningful milestones, overcome challenges, and reached important goals along the way. Each story reflects the strength, growth, and dedication within our community.

This is yet another glimpse into the lasting impact Healthy Families continues to have—right here at home. 💙

As we round out our Home Visiting Heroes lineup, we’re excited to recognize our newest team member—meet Amy Griffith! 🎉

Amy has recently joined the Healthy Families Harrison team, and we couldn’t be happier to have her. She is kind, easy to talk to, and brings a wealth of knowledge in child development to our program. From day one, Amy has hit the ground running, already making a meaningful impact by serving families in our community.

She has been working hard to build her caseload and is already forming strong, positive relationships with the families she supports. We truly feel fortunate to have Amy join us this year and complete our team.

Congratulations, Amy—we are celebrating YOU today! 💙

It’s National Home Visiting Week, and moments like this remind us why this work matters so much 💙

While out doing community outreach today, our Program Supervisor, Ashley Phillips, had the chance to reconnect with a family she previously worked with during her time as a home visitor, and the joy between them says it all! Seeing families thrive, grow, and succeed after completing the program is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. These connections don’t end when services do, they leave a lasting impact on both families and home visitors alike.

Moments like this are a reminder of the relationships built through trust, support, and care. We are so proud to walk alongside families in their journeys and celebrate their successes long after graduation.

We are all incredibly grateful for Ashley and the heart, dedication, and leadership she brings to supporting families in our community every single day. 💫

Stronger families. Brighter futures. That’s what Healthy Families Arkansas is building every day across our community and state.
But the real impact is best shared by the families themselves—take a moment to read one of their stories 👇

We had an absolutely wonderful time at our first Healthy Families Arkansas huddle of the year! Last night was a true blessing as we were honored to host Rebecca Dotson and Mollie Smith from the Ozark R**e Crisis Center. They shared invaluable insights with our families, highlighting what constitutes a healthy relationship. We were also incredibly fortunate to enjoy an outstanding meal generously provided by Woodland Church; their thoughtful gifts were truly special and heartwarming. The evening was filled with joy – we laughed, belted out some fun love songs together, bravely shared our individual challenges with one another, and concluded the evening with empowering education. We learned effective ways to recognize the hallmarks of a healthy relationship, reinforcing the fundamental truth that each and every one of us deserves to be loved, cherished, and supported in our journey. Thank you to those that made this night possible for our families that we serve!
