The mornings get a little cooler, the pumpkins start making their appearance, and you can almost feel fall waiting just around the corner. 🎃🍁

And with fall comes one of our favorite Harrison traditions…

❤️ The 42nd Annual Harvest Homecoming! ❤️

On October 3rd, Downtown Harrison will come alive with the sights, sounds, and spirit of the season.

It’s about more than just a day downtown. It’s about bringing the family, running into old friends, discovering something you didn’t know you needed, enjoying some good food, listening to music, and soaking up that feeling that only a community gathering can bring. 🧡

Before we know it, there will be pumpkins, mums, hay bales, handmade treasures, smiling faces and that unmistakable Harvest Homecoming feeling filling the streets.

So go ahead… start getting excited. 🍂

We are so incredibly grateful to Hopewell Baptist Church for blessing our program by restocking our wipes stash during their last Ladies Craft Night. 💕 Your generosity, kindness, and willingness to pour into our program truly makes a difference. The Healthy Families Harrison Team is completely blown away by the generosity of the Carter Grace Foundation! Thanks to this amazing partnership, we were able to purchase diapers for our program families today. We are in awe of the wonderful people in our community who continuously show up to support this mission. Together, we are always striving to build Stronger Families for Brighter Futures. Thank you for making a direct impact right here in Harrison!

Are you a dependable worker who enjoys being around animals? We are hiring at the Ozark Humane Society! We need help caring for the animals and keeping our shelter cleaned and maintained.
VERY IMPORTANT: APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS and maneuver 3 foot drops. Apply in person at our shelter located at 5147 Rock Springs Road in Harrison. No phone calls please.

The HFA Harrison office is SO proud to wrap up this month by celebrating a huge accomplishment from one of our very own Family Support Specialists!
Just like the goals we help families in our program set and achieve, we also have goals as an HFA team that we work hard to reach. Ashley Robinson has wanted to earn her Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification for quite some time — and last week… SHE DID IT!
Harrison HFA now has its very own Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician on staff!
A HUGE congratulations to our Ashley on this incredible accomplishment. We are beyond proud of you and all the hard work you put into achieving this goal!
