Boone County Fair

Boone County Fair is located in Harrison Arkansas. All about the kids and keeping the traditions of fair alive. We are seperate from the District Fair.

We are Boone County Fair located in Harrison Arkansas on the North Arkansas District Fairgrounds. Many mistake us for being the same as the North Arkansas District Fair. We are different boards and completely are separate identities. Because the two are back to back, the county fair does NOT host a carnival. We DO host a great livestock and poultry show, auction, and a building full of beautiful a

rts, crafts, and photography. Our gates are open and free admission. We encourage the community to come see us during the week and see what our FFA and 4-H youth are hard at work doing.

‼️Due to unforeseen facility and operational constraints, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Boone County Spring Livestock Show scheduled for April 17th.
This decision was not made lightly, as our priority is always the youth exhibitors in our county.
We appreciate the continued support of our community, sponsors, and exhibitors.
Please share this change with anyone who may have been planning to attend.

❗️Terminal Steer weigh-in will be at Bergman school district Friday, April 17th from 1-2pm.

❗️Market Steers will need to be tagged by Buddy Hinson. Please contact us if you will be showing a market steer in the fall as soon as possible so we can put you in his list.

Fun facts about our fair:
Boone County Fair is an educational fair. We give all we have to the youth participants of Boone County. Every single penny we have goes to pay for event expenses, prizes, and premium funds for the exhibitors. There is not a live auction for animals. We can't have a carnival. We raise this money with sponsorships, fundraisers, donations and a small amount of state funds. And it ALL goes back into the youth. Every single person working to make it happen is a volunteer. Every decision made is based on what is best for the YOUTH participants of our county. Those kids are some of the hardest working, kindest, and dedicated kids you will ever meet. We do what we do for them.

Hello BCF exhibitors! A few announcements and the information for BCF 2026 Spring Show.
❗️ Poultry blood testing for Spring show is this Saturday from 9-10 at the extension office.
‼️Terminal Steers are required to weigh in at County Spring show. All market steers that hope to gain premium funds this fall must also be weighed in. No spring steer weigh in, no premiums check in the fall. No off site weighing allowed!

The NW District Fair is a separate entity from the Boone County Fair. Our county fair uses the facilities for that week of our event. We will not make decisions on dates based on their dates. Our planning is based on what is best for our exhibitors and their projects. It has always been convenient to have the fairs back to back for local entries in arts and crafts and livestock. However, their date change is not what is in the best interest of our exhibitors. We will post dates for the 2026 Boone County Fair very soon. Until then we hope local businesses will consider continuing to support our county fair as we support our local youth in a long standing tradition.

You still have an opportunity to support our Boone County youth! We have a limited number of sweatshirts and t-shirts in adult sizes X-Large, Large, Medium and Small. We have youth t-shirt sizes Large and Medium. Sweatshirts are $25.00 and t-shirts are $15.00. Comment below if you would like a sweatshirt or t-shirt!
