WE HAVE EMERGENCY POWER
With the wide spread power outage effecting our community we understand that some devices that our community members rely on will need recharged before power is reestablished. Our station has an emergency power system and is now open to the community to stop and recharge these vital pieces of equipment.

PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD TO NEIGHBORS AND FAMILY MEMBERS THAT MAY NEED ASSISTANCE.

Last night, 12 members of the Harrison City Volunteer Fire Department spent their evening working through an Engine Company Operations refresher. Crews practiced forward-lay hydrant operations, primary attack line deployment, transitioning from tank water to pressurized hydrant supply, and putting a backup line in service. Every evolution was timed against NFPA 1410 standards.

This is the work behind the response. The skills you see at a fire scene don't happen by accident. They are built on evenings like this one, after work and on our own time, because our community deserves a department that shows up prepared.
