What: HSHA Paint Night 🎨🖌
When: Tuesday, June 30 | 6pm - 8pm
Where: 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg
Cost: $50 per painter

Unleash your creativity and help animals in need. You will paint an 11x14 custom acrylic masterpiece on canvas of your pet (or favorite animal). In addition to a fun evening and creating your own art to take home, know that you are also helping animals in need; all proceeds from this event benefit HSHA!

Don't worry, you don't need to be an artist to participate: your canvas will be primed and hand drawn like a paint-by-number (but with no numbers). A paint pallet will be specifically prepared for you along with a color copy of the photo you choose for painting reference.

We had an incredible 179 adoptions last week! WOW! 🎉

Thanks to weekly adoptions, Mega in Harrisburg, and Mega in DE, we were able to help find new families for 179 pets. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for every adopter and to every volunteer and staff member that helped make these love matches happen. 🤗 💜

💜 Wow, what a weekend for Mega Love! 💜

In Harrisburg, we are celebrating 84 love matches during our Mega Adoption Event this weekend! Thank you to the adopters, our staff, and volunteers, who all came together to find homes for so many animals.

The Mega Adoption® Event in DE matched 1,290 cats and dogs with forever families between Brandywine Valley SPCA animals brought from across our Delaware, Pennsylvania (including HSHA), New Jersey, and Washington, DC locations, as well as participating partner shelters who all brought animals to the Bob Carpenter Center.

Our hearts are full knowing so many pets are waking up in new homes this morning. 🏠 💜

📣 MEGA Adoption Event: Day 2 starts now! 📣

Here are just a few of the many pets hoping to find their fur-ever home today. Adoption fees for all adoptable pets are just $35. This adoption fee includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip.

We still have many adoptables looking for a home, like Maxine.

Maxine has been waiting for a long time to find her family. At 8 years old, this girlie hopes you will give her a chance. She is sweet, playful, and loves a day filled with adventures and cuddles. She needs to be the only pet in the home, but this queen will shower you with every ounce of love in her body!

We still have many amazing pets looking for their forever homes, like Perrio! This sweet boy has a heart of gold and is happiest when he’s snuggled up on the couch with his favorite humans—or following you around just to be close. Not only is he super loving, but Perrio is very food motivated, responds very well to guidance and gentle corrections, is house trained, can live with older children and other dogs, but would prefer a feline free home.

Join us tomorrow to find your new best friend. Who knows, it may be Perrio!
