The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is currently accepting applications for the Very Small Meat and Poultry Processor Grant program. Click below for details and to apply.

This program reimburses expenses for opening or expanding very small meat and poultry operations. It also covers the cost of obtaining a grant of inspection from USDA Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS).

The Center for Beef Excellence is pleased to once again offer both the Beef Excellence Initiatives and Bull Credit Grant Programs!!

Applications for both programs for Round 1 will be accepted from September 15, 2026 through November 20, 2026.

Farm Vitality Grant:

Through a 50/50 cost-share program, participating school districts receive financial assistance to purchase Pennsylvania beef, supporting healthier school meals and local agriculture.
