What an incredible evening! ❤️
Celebrating 35 years of Loaves & Fishes of the Rio Grande Valley and being named Nonprofit of the Year is truly humbling.
The Greater Chamber of Harlingen and America’s Events &Catering outdid themselves. It was especially meaningful to stand alongside some of the people who helped build this legacy, including our co-founders Charlie and Rachel Palmer and past president Brenda Landeros, just to name a few.
For 35 years, this mission has been about feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and offering hope to those who need it most. This recognition belongs to the many staff members, board members, volunteers, community leaders, and supporters who have poured their hearts into this work.
With grateful hearts, we celebrate how far we’ve come and look forward to the lives we’ll continue to change, one life at a time. ❤️
