Thankful for all the individuals and churches that gave Christmas gifts through our BRBA Freeda Harris Toy Drive and the KBC Christmas Backpack program. We are sending 2158 toys to the Freeda Harris Center to be distributed to the children of Eastern KY and 436 Backpacks to be distributed to children throughout Kentucky. I also appreciate those who came and helped box up the toys and load the truck.

I have been saying for year that Biblical illiteracy was rampant in the United States. Unfortunately, Lifeway Research has confirmed this opinion. Click on the link below if you want to take the quiz. I scored a 24 out of 25.

On a Bible literacy quiz, just 8% of U.S. Christian churchgoers score a B, 80 to 89, and only 9% reach A status, 90 and higher. https://research.lifeway.com/2026/11/03/2-in-3-churchgoers-fail-bible-literacy-quiz/
