🌟 Faces Behind the Scenes: Meet Mrs. Connie! 🌟

This time, we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful Mrs. Connie, who has been a valued part of our team since 2002! ❤️

Connie helps keep our building clean and organized, takes care of paper shredding, and even lends a helping hand with the books once she’s finished shredding. She wears many hats and is always willing to help wherever she’s needed!

One thing you’ll quickly notice about Mrs. Connie is her sweet personality and the smile she always wears. 😊 She takes pride in her work and puts care into everything she does. Connie is one of those special people you can always count on, and we are so thankful for all she does behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly!

Thank you, Mrs. Connie, for your years of dedication, your kind heart, and your willingness to always lend a helping hand! We appreciate you more than you know! 💕

🎉 Great news for Hannibal!

2 Rivers Industries, Inc. has received approval to place the $1.90 recycling fee back on the ballot for Hannibal citizens in April 2027!

We’re excited to take this next step in supporting our community and the future of our recycling program. ♻️

🌟 Meet Marsha! 🌟
As we begin sharing the faces behind our recycling center, we couldn’t think of a better person to spotlight than Marsha. ❤️

Marsha has been part of our team since 1969, beginning her journey with us at the Sheltered Workshop.

Marsha is 73 years old, and today she is our longest-serving employee, a remarkable part of our history and our family.

At the recycling center, Marsha’s job is book shredding.

She takes pride in her work, and she truly loves what she does. But for Marsha, this place is about much more than a job. It’s a second home, a place filled with familiar faces, friendships, purpose, and family. After so many years together, her story is woven into the story of our organization.

We’re proud to have Marsha as part of our team and grateful for the many years she has shared with us. 💚

This is just the beginning of our “Faces Behind the Recycling Center” series. We want our community to get to know the people who make our work possible every day.

If you would like to help support the Workshop by donating, please click the link for that. We are working on some grants, which takes time for approvals and receiving. This option helps along the way and is greatly appreciated. Our goal is to serve the disabled employees in our community and serve the public at the same time. These individuals love their jobs and would like to continue at that. Thank you advance!
