Our Workforce Pipeline Coordinator, Coley Haycraft, had a great time yesterday visiting the library and connecting with kids of all ages 📚

From giving Band-Aids to teddy bear "boo-boos," to handing out Careers In Our Counties coloring books, to talking with teens about their futures, we had the opportunity to connect with kids from ages 5-15!
Career exploration can start at any age and every conversation is the chance to plant a seed 🌱

📚 Career Exploration Starts Early!

We had a great time visiting five classrooms at the Hannibal Children's Center for a career-themed story hour!

We read Dr. Seuss' Maybe You Should Fly a Jet! Maybe You Should Be a Vet!, played career guessing games, and talked about all the different possibilities for their futures ✈👷👩‍⚕️🚒

A special thank you to Wendy Johnson with MACC for collaborating with us, adding to the career conversations, and providing STEM kits for the students to take home and explore!

It's never too early to spark curiosity and introduce kids to the many careers they could explore someday! 🌟
