Ironworker Halloween Costume

Jeans so dirty they could stand up on their own? Check. A hoodie with years of character? Check. Work boots that have seen things? Check. A sticker-covered hard hat and enough gas-station coffee to fuel a full shift? Now you’re getting somewhere.

Just throw in a little “send it,” a “one more piece” and a “you’ll have that on the big jobs” when something goes wrong, and you’ve got yourself the perfect ironworker costume. Bonus points if you’re asking, “Where’s your buddy?” before the shift even starts.

What did we forget? Drop your must-haves in the comments!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our President & CEO, Kellie Taillon, who was named the City of Hammond’s Citizen of the Year this week! 🎉

Kellie, thank you for all you do to support our communities and the people who make them such special places to live and work. This recognition is so well deserved!

A big thank-you to the City of Hammond for hosting the Volunteer Awards Breakfast each year and shining a spotlight on the wonderful people who give so much to our community. We’re also grateful to the Chamber board members who came out to show their support, and to the Hammond Area Career Center culinary students for preparing such a delicious breakfast.

Congratulations to Kellie and all of this year’s honorees! 💜💛
