For the last several years Edison has had an ofrenda set up in the main hall. It has grown slightly every year and thank you to this year's crew who put it all together. Thank you also for sharing this beautiful tradition with all our Edison students.

Mrs. Wieser's class having their popcicle party outside yesterday. They were one of two class that won a popcicle party for bringing in the most band-aids for the Leadership Club's band-aid drive. What a great day it was too for a popcicle!

Our fourth-grade students in Mrs. Michalak's class brought their reading to life through a hands-on story scene project! After reading a story together in class, students created their own three-dimensional scenes to represent an important moment from the text.
Through these creative projects, students demonstrated their understanding of key story elements, including characters, setting, important details, and major events. They carefully designed their scenes to show what was happening in the story and how their chosen moment fits into the overall progression of events.
This project goes beyond simply reading a story. Students are learning to think critically, identify evidence from the text, visualize what they read, and explain how events connect to one another. By combining literacy skills with creativity and hands-on learning, our fourth graders are discovering that reading is an opportunity to imagine, create, and bring ideas to life!
We are so proud of our students' creativity, effort, and growing reading comprehension skills!

Some keep it up action for PE fun on a Friday. Students used balloons and tried to keep them up in the air over the volleyball net. Sure looks like they were having some fun.
