Northshore Choral Society The Northshore Choral Society is a community choir that rehearses and performs with the University Chorus at Southeastern Louisiana University.

For the Spring 2025 semester, the SLU University Chorus and Northshore Choral Society will be performing Handel "Messiah," Part II (Death & Resurrection). We invite new singers of all voice parts to join us as we prepare this work! We rehearse on Tuesday evenings, 6:30-9:00 PM (starting Jan. 28th) in the Choir Room of Pottle Music Building. Feel free to bring your own scores (or we have plenty of extra copies)!

The Northshore Choral Society and Southeastern University Chorus will be presenting our semester concert on Saturday, December 7th at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Hammond. The performance will feature the Saint-Saëns Christmas Oratorio with strings, harp, and organ, as well as songs of peace by a variety of other composers. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend this special concert!

The performance will feature the Saint-Saëns Christmas Oratorio with strings, harp, and organ, as well as songs of peace by a variety of other composers. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend this special concert!

We are so proud of Daram, our graduate student conductor, who has been helping us prepare the music for our fall concert. This is Myr, Zaraz (set by Joan Szymko).
