Good morning Dune Dusters! We have huge news.

As a result of your comments at the INDOT Public Hearing on April 26th, and your continued efforts throughout the comment period, the Governor's Parkway project team has paused the bridge project to conduct additional studies.

They are looking into an underpass at Grand Avenue as an alternative to the bridge, conducting an ecological quality study of Briar East Woods, and are set to meet with state and Federal environmental agencies regarding the project.

These additional studies, including a detailed look at a Grand Avenue underpass, were made possible by speaking out at the INDOT hearing. Your hard work is making a difference and your voice matters. Community input creates this kind of progress. Let's continue the fight to !
