Wishing the best of luck to Kaleb Law and Cole Wodke as they travel to Washington, D.C., to represent Louisiana at the American Legion's Boys Nation program this week! 🇺🇸

Selected from among Louisiana Boys State's citizens, Kaleb and Cole will join young leaders from across the nation to engage with the federal government, debate public policy, and build lifelong friendships while proudly carrying Louisiana's legacy on the national stage.

Cole Wodke was selected to represent Louisiana at the American Legion's Boys Nation program in Washington, D.C. (July 17-25). This is one of the highest honors a Boys State delegate can receive. Only two delegates were selected from Louisiana. He's the first Parkway student to earn that opportunity since 2015. It's always great to see our Panthers continue to have such a strong showing at the program, and this year was no exception.

At Louisiana Boys State, our 2026 theme, Engage in Change, reminded us that meaningful change begins with informed citizens who understand their government, participate in their communities, and exercise the responsibilities that come with citizenship.

This Independence Day, as we celebrate 250 years of America, we also celebrate the next generation of leaders committed to building what comes next.
