Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana has served the community since 1957.

We believe that positive mental health can be achieved by removing barriers limiting a person's full potential. Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana (MHANWI) is committed to a leadership role in improving the quality of life for Northwest Indiana families through:

- Prevention-focused home visitation services for families
- Outreach and advocacy to promote overall well-being
- Education of

the community regarding the promotion of good mental health
- Referral for high-quality, culturally-competent integrated mental health services

By doing so, we will be a role model for other mental health associations and will promote a just, humane, and healthy community in which all people are accorded respect, dignity, and the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
