This week, Operation Israel had a seat at the table in the Knesset.

We addressed the Knesset Special Committee on the regulatory and customs obstacles facing organizations that bring donated equipment to Israel’s soldiers and frontline communities. By the end of the session, the Ministry of Finance and the Tax and Customs Authorities committed to work with us on a process to ease those obstacles.

For a volunteer-run organization, this is what two and a half years of showing up and delivering looks like.

Watch our address to the committee, and the committee chair’s words to our donors.

Thank you to MK Michael Biton for his leadership and his persistence on an issue that directly affects the safety of soldiers.

None of this would be possible without our donors. You put us in that room.

Today we remember the men and women who gave their lives so others could live free.

Freedom is not an abstraction. It is paid for, generation after generation, by those who stand watch and do not come home. We honor the American service members who made that sacrifice, and we stand with the soldiers and families of Israel who carry the same weight.

At Operation Israel, this is personal. The soldiers we support are someone’s children. So were the ones we remember today.

May their memory be a blessing.

Chag Shavuot Sameach from Operation Israel!

Shavuot commemorates the moment we stood together at Mount Sinai - unified as one people with one purpose.

Today, that unity looks like this: Soldiers standing guard on the front lines. Supporters around the world making sure they have what they need. A community refusing to let distance or borders weaken our commitment to one another.
The soldiers defend us and protect the land promised to us thousands of years ago - ensuring we have our place, our home, where the Jewish people can live safely and freely.

Operation Israel exists because we’re still one people with one purpose - taking care of those who defend our ancestral homeland and our right to exist in it.
That’s the covenant in action.

Chag Sameach! 🇮🇱

Antenna kit delivered to Devorah Unit on the northern border.

Drone extension kits remain among the most requested items in the field. This antenna kit went to the Devorah Unit - a reserve unit made up of local residents protecting the northern border and operating beyond it when needed.

Local defenders. Extended range. Better protection for their communities and the soldiers operating alongside them.

Featured: Times of Israel covers Operation Israel’s anti-drone initiative.

“Fair Lawn Mom vs. Hezbollah Drones” - The Times of Israel did an incredible job telling our story - how we’re developing and deploying low-tech transparent netting solutions faster than traditional systems, stopping su***de drones before they can detonate on soldiers in Lebanon.
Grateful for the coverage bringing attention to this life-saving work.

«Without these night vision goggles, it is impossible to move at night.»

Nahal unit mobility vehicle team receiving critical night vision equipment from Operation Israel.

When soldiers say they can’t operate without something, that’s not exaggeration - that’s reality. Night operations require night vision. Your donations make night missions possible.
«Thank you - it is not taken for granted.»

Helmet camera and trauma shears: Better care in the field.

These tools help medical teams document and provide better treatment to wounded soldiers in real-time. The helmet camera allows medics to record procedures for training and review, while trauma shears give them the precision they need in critical moments.

Better equipment means better care means more lives saved.
